Boy does this one jump out at you. I'm betting on a bait pile nearby, or a pattern of feeding them.

On PGC site it said they were driving a Christmas tree farm also.

I love how quick you were to already assume baiting is a possibility. I guess you were there.

You would have thought they would have published a photo of said bear instead of bears from NC and LA.

Well I'm sorry but I've never heard of a bear being shot with a .357 pistol at 5 yards before, unless it had a doughnut in it's mouth.
