Snow on the ground?

Weather this week, particularly Thursday night into Friday morning look promising to lay down some snow for opening day in the northern tier. Hopefully it does and sticks around. Fingers crossed.
Snow is a gamechanger.

Got my fingers crossed!! When I left a Sullivan County mountain Saturday eve there was already a white dusting that dont think was going away anytime soon. Lower reaches/valleys had nothing.

Not far from my house there already is around 5 inches of snow on the ground..... Of course it's on one of the trails at Big Boulder. They started making snow Saturday night but they aren't to receptive about letting me hunt bear there

We are supposed to get snow followed by rain later in the day on Friday. I am hoping that some of the snow sticks and stays around for the opener. Its amazing how much it opens the woods up.
