Excellent choice. Not cheap (I put 4 boxes through the rifle ahead of time) but well worth it.

So far it's been great eating! My mother who generally refuses to eat game meat loves it. She told my old man we should consider going out west next year to try for another.

That looks like the bull I was watching on the elk cam until they shut it down. I had a cow tag so I watched it every evening. Congrats on a great hunt and a great trophy, the best trophy will be the memories of the hunt. From reading your story, I suspect you will remember every detail until you are an octogenarian.

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!
