Bet you had the place pretty much to yourself as well huh? I'm going to plan on driving up from camp next Monday.

I just got back from that area doing some scouting. I did not see anything that I would call good rutting activity. Bulls are starting to move around and gather cows.
I went for a long walk that took me over 4 hours of steady walking to complete. On that walk I saw 9 deer, six flocks of turkeys, 2 cow elk by themselves, two lone bulls - one of which was a really nice and heavy 7x7 that was also by himself, saw bobcat-coyote and bears tracks and saw 11 rattlesnakes around a couple of den sites.. Also heard a couple of bulls doing some half-hearted bulging to each other. One bugled twice and the other bugled about 8 or 9 times. Did see some pretty good sized rubs and some smaller ones as well.
When I came across Winslow hill, I was amazed at how few people were around. The least I've seen for this time of year in quite some time.
Couldn't believe how many large poults were with the flocks of turkeys.

Last night around 9-930 there was a nice bull, at least 6x6, running some cows around on the elk cam.

I have been watching it for the last 4 or 5 days. There are a couple of good bulls they are bugling and following the cows but I would not call it active rutting activity, it is the prelude to rutting activity.

The rut is going pretty good. Lots of all out brawls in the last week. You have about 3-5 days until the peak of it.

Been seeing some breeding activity.

The bulls were screaming today. Lots of traffic too.

I was there on Thursday, there were few people at the elk viewing area and I heard no bugling. I was scouting areas for the elk season, I saw one Bull cross the road in the Sinnamahoning area.

There’s been bugling for the last 5 minutes or so on the Elk cam. No bulls in the picture.

I heard kids voices on the cam yesterday. with people in the vicinity, that may be why they are camera shy...
