I just was wondering what kind of Bear sightings were going on? I myself haven't seen a bear in years. For awhile there, i was seeing bears quite a bit. I know of people seeing Bears near my area, but I didn't see any. Post your sightings or pictures and what county you seen Bear in. thanks.
I had one walk across my driveway back in Mid-May.I would guess 250 to 275 pounds. That's the only Bear I have seen thus far. I'm sure I will see more as I live in Clinton County. The key is seeing one during season!

I had one cross the driveway at work about a month ago.11 am and that suprised me.Two weeks later a neighbor and customer of the shop called to warn me two came down the drive.Several miles away a customer says one keeps getting in her bird feeder.I told her to take it down.No real need to feed birds right now.I work in Sarver.
Seen quite a few. have a couple others on trail cam. I've seen them all over the SC region of PA. then we have a bunch up around our ground in Tioga Co. There's PLENTY of them around. They're starting to show up in areas never seen before!

My brother works in the "patch" up on the east side of the ANF and he sees them daily. He seen 7 in one day last week. Just last week he rescued two cubs out of a dumpster with a backhoe and a log while mom "mock" charged the backhoe. He sends me pics every chance he gets. Bear season can't come fast enough !!!
Been seeing at least 1 bear a day sometimes 2 and 1 day 3 until the loggers moved in 2 weeks ago. One was at least 500 lbs. I know they're coming in at night now because they're marking my pine trees with chewing, clawing and snapping the tops off some. One also destoyed a whole case of ginger ale that was sitting on the porch. I imagine once the logging crew leaves they'll be walking around in the daytime again.
