Re: Man attacked by Potter County bear

No way !!!

Bears are not capable of attacking humans.

Must be a mistake.

Your not a wildlife biologist, but I am guessing you did stay at a Holiday Inn last night. Bears are quite capable of attacking humans, while they might not normally, that does not mean they are not capable.

Re: Man attacked by Potter County bear

sounds like a bear didn't attack a human, but instead, protected her young, as expected

Wonder if it was retaliation for BOBO's death the friendly B & C bear from last year....?

Re: Man attacked by Potter County bear

The guy feeds the bears all the time. His dog went out and got mom all fired up and he went out to get his dog like a dummy. Everyone that I work with from that area blames him for feeding the bears and for going out there when he should not have. Oddly enough with the way news spreads around here it was never in any of the papers or blogs.
