My wife and I went to Yellowstone Park this past week. I haven't been there since '89 and '92. The Park was all charred and black then from the fires, not very appealing to look at. This time the park was very nice, alot of new growth. I am ashamed to say that I had forgotten how beautiful the place really is. It will not be 19 more years until we go back. Anyway, we saw Old Faithful, antelope, mule deer, elk, moose, coyotes, wolves, bison, bald eagles, osprey and beavers. What really stole the show were the bears. We spent three full days in the park and saw 19 bears. 9 were black bears and 10 were grizzlies. The griz are spectacular animals. To me they are the most magnificent animal on earth. What a thrill to see them!!! My camera is not the grreatest, but I have attached a few pics.
