Re: bear shot in Erie ( summit township)

I really can't figure out what this guy was thinking. Why could he possibly think that he was justified in going BACK into his house and then returning to shoot a beat that wasn't posing a threat?

I hope that they throw the book at this guy and send notice that this kind of reckless behavior will not be tolerated.

What a shame!! They need to make an example out of him! NOT acceptable! That bear at 130 is as big as my dog and wasn't posing a threat. What a shame!

Re: bear shot in Erie ( summit township)

I'm not sticking up for this guy but I'm also not about to believe that this bear wouldnt pick off a little kid in a second if it was hungry enough.

Life's too short to hunt with an ugly dog.

ch..ch..ch..*click*..BOOM

Re: bear shot in Erie ( summit township)

So could a coyote and I guarantee you've got those in Philadelphia. But the chances are way better that a human would pick off a little kid, rather than a bear.

The deer didn't disappear.... the 250,000 guys who used to walk around and make the deer move did.
