SUGAR PEARS?

ANYONE KNWO ANYTHING ABOUT THESE. I FOUND 2 PROB. 20' TALL ABOUT 30' AOURND AND HAVE ANYWAYS SEVERAL HUNDRED IF NOT THOUSANDS OF PEARS ON THEM THIS YEAR, ON AN OLD GROWN UP FARM. THEY ARE KIND OF HARD. REALLY SWEET, AND SEEM TO BE NOT QUITE RIPE YET. THEY ARE ROUND NOT MUCH BIGGER THAN A GOLF BALL AND LIGHT GREEN IN COLOR. I THKN IT WAH THEY CALL OLD SUGAR PEARS BUTI'M NOT QUITE SURE.

By looking at photos of Seckel Pears those are the ones we called sugar pears. We used to eat them all the time over my uncle's house when we were growing up. The tree doesn't seem to produce them anymore but it used to be loaded with them at one time. They were an excellent tasting pear.
