Chicken of the woods (Sulfer shelf)
I got a nice young chicken mushroom off one of the oak trees out back yesterday. Enough to fill a one gallon zip-lock and half fill another.
I have eaten the mushrooms both deep fried with a beer batter and sauteed with butter and onion and loved them but have never cooked them......Sooooooo, anybody out there have any recipes they would like to share?
Thanks in advance.....Just looking to expand my culinary horizons.
