Doughnut Peaches

Anyone ever eaten any? My daughter gave me one yesterday, I never have seen anything like them. They are flat, shaped like a bagle and really sweet and delicious with a small pit, much smaller than a normal peach.

Yep they sell them here at the growers market. I like the white ones. Sweeter than the regular peaches in my opinion.

Re: Doughnut Peaches

they sure are good...I think they are called saturn peaches, though dont quote me. The white ones are my favorite..though they sure are a bit pricey compared to the regular peaches.

Re: Doughnut Peaches

I had an employee once who lived next to a fruit orchard. He helped them as a part timer in harvest time, and every day would bring in different fresh fruits for my crew. The doughnut peach was and still is my favorite, there is nothing like them. The orchard owner, now deceased, also had an abundance of deer, and to get an invite from him to hunt the orchard was a guaranteed tag filler!
