Creepy Crawly CPB larvae!!! Anyone else?! lookout!

Well, I was checking my garden a little bit ago and discovered a new pest---The Colorade Potato Beetle Larvae.

At least that's what I believe it is. Internet pictures look very similar only what I have has a little bit different color to them.

What I'm finding online is that these insects are hard to beat, I've only found them on my eggplant leaves so far. Slimy little (almost slug like) texture and they are foilage feeders.

I found a small egg cluster of about 7 eggs, pink in color on the underside of one leaf. It looked almost like pink rice. Keep vigilant and kill them all!

Colorado Potato Beetle?

Dust your plants with Lyme...they do not like lyme!

If it rains, go back out after it stops and redust!

Get hold of a burlap bag, fill it with Lyme and walk along shaking the bag over your plants!

Woody,

You have all of the answers.

They're all gone, thank you again.

Checked again yesterday and still no sign of the CPB's. I need to keep vigilant because when I first noticed them they were in groups on the underside of leaves and eating the leaves pretty good. Since I got rid of them the plants have developed more leaves and also started blossoming. I hope they don't come back.
