Chester County Leeks

Hey everyone, I have been watching the posts on here about leeks and people finding them and cooking with them. I have wanted to find some over the past few years and I really don't know exactly what they look like. I have been by a certain area in chester county which is not to far from philly and I am almost certain that these are leeks. I don't know how to post pics so if any one could give me their email I would love to know if they are leeks. I am not sure they would grow down this way but like I said I am pretty sure they are.

Re: Chester County Leeks

My dad transplanted leeks about 30 years ago from Potter too Chester County. They only lasted a few years before they died out. Shoot me a PM with your email and I should be able to post your picture.

Man, I really need to get out and look some more. I figured as disturbed as all the woods around here are there wouldn't be anything like this out here.
