I tried planting garlic last April for the first time. I pulled a clump out tonight. It looks like a cluster of 10-12 spring onions. Should I keep it in until fall or pull it out?

Re: garlic

a clump is not what you want. I plant indivdual cloves on the day of the full moon in october and pick them in mid July. You may want to seperate those and plant each clove 3-4 inches apart. I think you will still be ok for this year. let me know if you need help.

Re: garlic

I plant my garlic either the 1st or 2nd week of November depending on the weather.Right now the plants are around 3 to 4 inches high also make sure yor fertilize them good and keep the ground loose.
