Thornless Blackberries

I was given a dozen thornless blackberry plants two years ago. The ones with the giant "big as your thumb tip" berries. They won't be ripe for another 4 weeks and the bushes are already so loaded they are bent over toward the ground. There were several new shoots from the canes that bent over last year, so over the weekend, the new plants were transplanted.

The existing plants are held up right by a cattle panel on each side of the canes. I there are other kind of trellis that works well?

I have had good luck with wire fence (the heavy wire) with either 4x4 or 6x6 openings. You can stake with metal fence posts howver do not cheat on the distance between posts. Good luck.
