Did any one else get hit with frost friday morning,it drop down to 30 and the roofs and the truck had frost on it.I had tomatoes, peppers, califlower, kohlrabi, broccoli, cabb age, head lettuce, bush beans about 4" high, potatoes about 8" high, onions, cucumbers, zucchini, corn(not up yet)and garlic( about a foot high) planted.I sprayed all the plants with a fine mist around 5:30 am,i thought i would lose my tomatoes, peppers, beans, cucumbers for sure but i didn't lose one plant so i don't known if it was the fine mist or the frost wasn't as heavy as i though.I knew i was taking a risk planting everything early.

What you don't see with your eyes, don't invent with your mouth.

Re: Frost

We had frost 3 consecutive mornings here. But, nothing is planted here as of yet. Rule of the thumb is do not plant until memorial weekend in the Pennsylvania high country.(above 2,000 feet elevation)

The horizon is your starting point.
