A friend of the family just called and said his neighbor lost 400 tomato plants this week due to the blight. He said he got worried and went to check his garden to see if the plants he bought from us had any on it and sure enough they did. He is pretty bummed.
The phone is ringing off the hook with people asking how to mitigate this but as far as I know there is no way now to stop it and save the plant once they have it. The only thing I know to do is spray prior to it occuring if you think you may experience the blight due to warm wet weather.
