MountainHippie has grown them in the past. Not sure where he gets the spores though.

My niece got me one for christmas last year. I forgot all about it till I found it getting my turkey stuff together in the spring. It was a piece of log that was supposed to have 2 different types on it. When I found it it had sprouted(?) but by then it was pretty dried out. She had given them to my 2 sisters who did get some shrooms off theirs, of course they followed the directions and didn't put it away for later LOL.

I tried them a couple of times, never worked for me. I had them in the basement at the right temp., tented and misted them, maybe just afew sprouted. Save your money!

My father bought one of these "kits" a few years ago. Although it did produce white buttons, you could buy a [censored] of a lot more at the grocery store for the same price.

Bought a kit years ago from fungiperfecti.com and yielded great results. Good company and its been around for a long time.
