This Shroom looks edible

Sulfer Shelf (or whatever it's called)?? Found it while scouting today but left it. I'll take it off this week if it's ok. I did touch it and it wasn't dry yet. Seems pretty tender.

OK. It looked pretty clean and felt soft but I am not expert at all. I'll just leave it alone. Am I correct in the ID though?

You are correct on your ID of Sulphur Shelf or Chicken of the Woods. You looks past it's prime though! When they're prime there are bright orange color, as they get older they fade in color.
