Rams Head?

Hi guys
I found this one today and it is the first one I have ever found in all my years of being in the woods. I just want to confirm that it is in fact a rams head. What are your thoughts?

Re: Rams Head?

I love to deep fry them with a cajun breading only takes about 2 to 3 minutes but watch how many you put in at one time, they can over flow you deep fryer

Re: Rams Head?

I found a bunch on Saturday. Half of them were pretty buggy and yellowed. my question is this: Will new ones continue to come up due to the wet and mild weather? I usually start to find them in late Sept. This year they are pretty early and I may have missed the best harvest. Papinki mushrooms are starting to pop out now as well. Should I just concentrate on them and not on the Rams heads?
