I'm going with a yep.

Do a spore print to confirm. Place gills down on Black paper. Spores should be light colored. If you don't see the spores (don't show up), place on a White paper. If the spores are dark, bad juju.

Fleroo, I went back to tree and cluster rotted. Only one dried/rotted remained. Did get a few light colored spores off.
Am pretty sure they were Oysters.
This season, I have a friend that is going to show me some mushrooms that I don't know.
Thanks Fleroo.

Those are definitely oysters. I found a nice flush growing right along side a road last weekend.

I don't have ducks. I don't have rows. I have squirrels. And they're drunk.

Here are the two I have. Both include color pictures. Have had them since I was in my early teens. I'd recommend both.20190907_221808_1567909232556.jpg

Outsiders call us sadists or masochists; sometimes both. Others, mostly ourselves, describe our activities in romantic, even heroic, terms. We take ourselves very seriously and tend to forget that much of duck and goose hunting is fun and sometimes ridiculous.

The perils of duck hunting are great, especially for the duck.
