Bear Lard

Anyone got any good recipes with Bear lard?I rendered off some Bear fat to use the oil for muzzy patch lube and over heated 1 batch and have lard.Wife said she might use some for pie dough.

The answers to all of life's questions are found in the Bible!

Re: Bear Lard

I have eaten pie crust made with bear lard, it was good and flakey.

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

Water proof boots with it but might fall under baiting next bear season.
