Nice article. However, the sulfur shelf will grow on the ground sometimes. I found one near the base of a cherry tree on a golf course two years ago. The guy I was golfing with thought I was nuts when I picked it and carried it the last two holes.

True I have seen some odd things over the years that goes against everything i have ever read. I just found a chicken on a locust tree. First time I have ever heard or seen that before.

Great article! Liked the videos as well. Sheeps head and chicken of the woods are probably the only two types of edible mushrooms I’ve ever found in the woods. Would love to find some morels.... haven’t been that lucky yet though! Thanks for sharing!
