opinions on boletus

These always pop up at the edge of my yard near pine trees this time of year and im wondering if they are the good ones? the one on the right is a different kind than the other three, and im not sure if the big one on the left is the same as the middle ones or not.
As you can see the right one staines blue when pinched and the other three dont stain blue what so ever even hours after pinching.

Re: opinions on boletus

The yellow gilled one ...I think thats the non-edible bolete that someone put a picture on another post.. that would be the post that they wanted to know how fast it turned blue..

The other one...Now I think that is a poison bolete. AKA the Bitter Bolete... I am 99% sure!!! So that one is poison.

There is a way of testing the Bitter but I will not post that on here for fear of someone doing something wrong and ingesting the thing.

Again... Remember OK you have the two pictured above in the first post.. One is poison the other is non-edible..
Remember this too...any with red gills under the cap... They are poison so just stay away from the red gilled ones.

Now all your other boletes.. Most are edible..

Re: opinions on boletus

Do a google search for the beginner's "rules of Boletes"......something like avoid any Bolete that has a Red or Orange pore surface, avoid any Bolete that stains Blue....avoid any Bolete that has an Orange Cap..etc..

Those you have pictured sure do fall in the the catagory of Boletes to avoid.

Best to find a trusted mentor to learn the Boletes but if you follow the rules....your "should" be safe.
