Re: morels still coming up in the top part of the stat

Don't know about the top but the middle area is still producing. Found 7 giant yellows along side the road as I was driving home from work this morning. Just happened to look by a tree I had found them at before and saw the top of one sticking up above the weeds. Turned out it was about 7 inches tall!! The others were all around 5-6 inches. Going out one morning this week to check that area a little better.

Found 1 just before dark in SE tonight...I'll be back there tomorrow

I've always been crazy, but it keeps me from going insane.

79, just came back from Erie monday morning.yes morels are still coming up.At least in Northwestern pa. And if you like oyster mushrooms, they are producing really well. the weather Sunday made it tough as the ground is saturated, high winds and rain but still managed about 4 lbs of Oysters and roughly 100 morels. We also picked about 2 lbs of fresh Dryad Saddles. the saddles are everywhere if you like those.
