My Morel season so far with pics

Well I got just a touch over 260 so far but I've only went 3 times. 3 times due to getting some kind of poison on my leg and would'nt you know it some kind of infection in my knee. Doc said stay off it but he obviously doesn't understand morel pickers. He was right cause one night picking it swelled so bad I was draggin it through the woods cause it would'nt bend. Also tryin a new dryin method this year instead of freezing. Anyone using this?

We have been dehydrating them as well for later use. The smell of the dried shrooms is awesome. We ground some up and used it instead of bread crumbs.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

I froze them the last couple seasons and just wasn't happy with um. So I went out and bought a dehydrator today. The house does smell great!

I see said the Blind Carpenter to his Deaf Helper as he picked up his Hammer and Saw!

Are you sure you didn't get a tick bite in that knee? Just wondering because sometimes a rash can be the result of a bite.
