Championship morel

Was a good day in the woods Saturday. Came close on a gobbler but we managed to wrangle up a big batch of morels. This is only half of them. Check out the size of the one. Never saw one that big anywhere. Anyone see one this big before? A true giant that made my hand a forearm look small.

Nice Shroom!!!! You should have left the root in the ground though. I found 81 today, nothing that big yet.

I see said the Blind Carpenter to his Deaf Helper as he picked up his Hammer and Saw!

Re: Championship morel

If you let them go an extra couple of days, they have the potential to get that big. Hate to say it, but let them go so they can grow.

Re: Championship morel

I only let them go when they're real small. Med to Large end up in the sack! I put my boots on backwards so guys trying to follow me to my spots walk the wrong direction!
