morel update

Last week while turkey hunting in maryland a guy walked in on me who was picking morels, I took the class he offered in the woods and I actually found one later that day. I brought it home sliced and fried in butter to give it a try,,,,excellent. Sunday I think I walked more than a few miles on SGL 26 looking for more of these and didnt find any. I came home and my brother called that he found a patch of morels! In his yard near some old apple trees, scored 108 so far ate them today with ramps and steaks and the hunt continues. I have learned that they can be anywhere and most times you dont find a "patch" but that must have been beginners luck. sorry no pics

It may be a poor choice of words but I am smart enough to understand what you meant.
