85 pound watermelon

I picked the last of my watermelons this weekend. I saved the biggest for the end of the season. It weighted 85 pounds. That's the biggest one I have ever grown.

We had a little informal contest at work to see who could grow the biggest watermelon. I actually lost with this one. One of my co-workers grew a 90 and 122 pound watermelon. They were absolutely huge. It was the size of the top of a hay bale and over four feet around.
