Re: American Persimmon Trees

I was just reading a story in Full Cry about the persimmon trees. This man stated that you should not eat more than 2 or 3 a day and do not eat them more than 1 or 2 days a week. They tend to be hard to digest and he knew a man that ate them for one week and had to have surgery to remove them. Has anyone else ever heard this?
