Tree ID

I have these popping up all over our property, I am thinking they are Hickory. just want to get some clarification, as we don't have any Hickory. The kids were planting various nuts last Fall, Chestnuts, White Oak, Hickory, and Redbuds. But these are popping up in places they did not plant in.

American by birth, union by force.
Would like to see that bumper sticker.

Re: Tree ID

They do look like ash. I planted a lot of hickory this spring and the chipmunks have dug them all up. Had one that was about 2 feet tall and they dug it up and ate the root.
