Wild strawberries!!!

So, wild strawberries are usually very small, but there is a patch of strawberries where I have been running the dog and they are big for wild ones. They are literally everywhere up there! Does anyone else pick wild strawberries, and how do you use them if so?

Hope this posts. These are the berries. Yum!

Edit: They look small in the picture, but they aren't as small as they look lol. There are a ton of them though so there are more than enough to get a huge pick.

A bad day hunting rabbits beats a good day of anything else!

Always loved wild strawberries, never did anything with them other than just pop them in my mouth!

Re: Wild strawberries!!!

I love picking wild strawberries! Several years ago, I found a patch of real big wild strawberries like you found. Unfortunately, the trees around it have grown too big and they no longer are there.

Nice find!

The horizon is your starting point.

Re: Wild strawberries!!!

They make the best strawbery jam you will ever taste.

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

That and pancakes is how we use them. Same as wild Blueberries.

Another day in paradise. God hunts on Sundays.
