Sad Daffodils

It's windy, cold, snowing and 28 degrees......On April 15.....

Don't these poor daffodils look sad.

Re: Sad Daffodils

They don't look happy . . . My head was hanging down like that today too - had about enough with winter already

They probably just paid their income tx.

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

Re: Sad Daffodils

Our Daffodils are so sad they haven't even started peaking out of the ground yet.

American by birth, union by force.
Would like to see that bumper sticker.

Re: Sad Daffodils

Our daffodils are about 75% blossoming. But today is so cold that it makes me wonder how they keep going. Very cold winter with a very cold spring.

Re: Sad Daffodils

I have not cut grass yet and May starts next week! It's just getting green now. With the rain that's coming down this evening it'll really take off. Despite the cold weather, those daffodils are still doing well.

Re: Sad Daffodils

We mowed 25 properties this week. I mowed mine 3 times. I start top dressing mine with leaf compost from the township in March.
