"Photo session Tonight!!!"

Get your cameras ready boys!!!!!

Tonight 1/29/10 will be the largest FULL moon for the entire year of 2010!!!

Along with that, the Planet MARS will be at it's side for the event this evening.......
Get those batteries charged up!

******

Some advice:

Because of the severe cold weather, Put your camera into a Zip lock freezer bag while indoors before taking outside.

Then when you take the camera outdoors, ALLOW the transition of the temperature change to occur to your camera before removing from the zip lock bag.

This prevents Condensation from occuring!

Repeat the process before returning into the warm indoors.

Re: "Photo session Tonight!!!"

Suppose to be visible all night, pending cloud cover.

Clear skies with minimal clouds currently now in the N.E.
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

Re: "Photo session Tonight!!!"

Not the best in clarity. slightly oof. I goofed.

Shot them very late, 10:30pm, I would have preferred the shots at moon rise and sun set time. Moon is very low in the horizon and much more pleasing to view at that time. But, I wasn't home till late... had my nephew's B-day party to attend.

MARS is in the first photo, to the far left, the little white speck.

Just a moon closeup in the second photo... MAN was it COLD!!!
