Rare visitors

A couple of rare visitors grabbing a quick bite to eat on the local sidewalk.

I think I'm seeing a Black Vulture in the photos ( they are very good pics by the way). How rare is the Black Vulture here in Pa?
I see less and less Turkey Vultures and many more blacks. There are thousands of Blacks on the lower Susquehanna.

Here on the northern border the blacks are rare, we have a lot of turkey vultures.

Stand up and be counted, join an outdoor sports organization

Same here in Lancaster Co. At least Turkey vultures will wait until there is a body before they eat. Blacks are known to kill calves and lambs.

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!
