New one gone to printer

Had this one done in a 20x10 in image size for my show in Sept. I added the camo mat and kind of like that. Interested in opinions about the mat, just thought it kind of added something to the image.

Griz, that is a great photo, like all of your work. However, I hope you don't mind, but I think the camo mat draws you eyes away from the beautiful photo by being too busy.

I like the camo matte for a number of reasons. Without going into detail I'll just say that you've incorporated a few of the tricks into the matte that I as a landscape painter would use to give the illusion of depth and distance in a painting.

Also I wanted to mention this photo is a photo art project involving two seperate photos and lighting edits. Saw a photographer friend has several photo art prints at a show and they were selling very well. As competitive as these shows are it pays to have a little edge if you can.
Thinking about using some of my Florida photos and inserting the subjects into various backgrounds, sunrise, scenery ect.

If y'all would like to see some examples let me know and I will post some as I finish them.

Thanks

Griz
