Rails To Trails

I rode 10.5 miles today from my house to the Rails to Trails and back. Since I quit smoking, I decided to get in better shape, try to lower my blood sugar as to not take any meds for this. Doctor is threatening to! Also, for the upcoming archery season. I have a Schwinn mountain bike that I had for many, many years. Finally getting some use out of it.

I passed the Old Rootbeer Barrel that used to sit on Route 72. On the way back I stopped in for something cold to drink. Had a nice little chat with the owners, they are still the owners when it used to sit on 72. She told me that a scout needed something for his Eagle Scout Badge. So they restored the barrel building, and donated it back to the original owners. Thought that was cool of them. I should have taken a few pics, but I wanted to get back home. Next time. Did take a few pics of the iron bridge in Cornwall.

The other side of the bridge looking towards Mt. Gretna.

Re: Rails To Trails

Sounds like a nice day. Good luck with the "shape up".

“did you get all that on camera sport?”
