Barn Swallows

These guys nest in the same spot every year in the barn i work at. This is the pairs second clutch. They've been trying to get them out of the nest for the last 3 days.

The two stubborn chicks.

They moved from the nest to the beam.

Daddy encouraging them to fly.

Chick checking out how far down it is.

Mom and Dad both encouraging them.

Momma

Daddy

Mommas back

They refused to move.

There's nothing like a day in the woods.....

Re: Barn Swallows

Great pics of a nifty little bird. I love watching them in the fileds when I am woodchuck hunting. They are like little fighter jets.

Good night Chesty, wherever you are......
