That time of year - Elk

Fun time of year to photograph elk. Was up for a second time this past weekend. It was rough sleeping Friday night as, I believe, a bull elk laid nearby and bugled all night. Then, Saturday night starting about midnight, 3 bulls decided to scream back and forth to each other and do some fighting as I heard antlers crashing. I got up quick enough to just see one bull chasing another from the front, around the side, through the back and into the woods. All while a 3rd bugled off to the side. This seemed to go until about 6am. Could not see much because of the fog though.

Anyhow.. some photos.

Was that bull injured at that time? Rear Leg? Seen him a long way away from there last week and he was banged up
