October Elk

Made my 4th trip up to the elk area for photos in October. The colors were starting to boom with peak looking to occur later that week.

It was a great fall season for elk photos and also action I had not anticipated in getting into, Read Winslow Hill Elk Encounter, but led to the meat from a bull elk being divided up among 5 friends and me being able to purchase a very fine set of antlers.

This trip was about getting some elk photos with the fall leaf color. I am happy with the results.

Those are great pictures. I wonder how many of the big boys make it through the season?

Absolutely Awesome.

Dare I say, in my opinion all of these are wall-hangers. Great images. Thanks for sharing.

Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.
