When is the eaglets at Hanover supposed to hatch? It has been over 5 weeks since the first egg was laid.

Re: PGC Eagle Cam

first eaglet at Hanover didn't make it, looks like it died sometime Tuesday evening into Wednesday second egg still not hatched but they are still sitting on it, hopefully with better results.

Re: PGC Eagle Cam

I did read that on WNEP. Sad. Nature can be cruel.

Re: PGC Eagle Cam

Cam is not working right now. Sad news about the eagle, yet this is all part of nature.
They are hoping the second egg hatches

Re: PGC Eagle Cam

Camera 2 is working now. Looks like it is raining there right now. I hope that as long as they are sitting on the egg then it will hatch. Seems to be taking a long time this year.

Re: PGC Eagle Cam

The Hays eagles in Pittsburgh hatched 2 out of 3 eggs. They don't think 3rd egg is viable as it hasn't hatched yet. Same pair raised 3 two years ago. Last year the whole nest failed.

I see said the Blind Carpenter to his Deaf Helper as he picked up his Hammer and Saw!

Re: PGC Eagle Cam

I read somewhere in Pennsylvania that has a camera that the parents brought in a cat for the young to eat. The eagle in Hanover is still sitting on the last egg? Is the mate to this one still helping to sit?
