Bridge Truss @ dawn

I am new to the world of high quality cameras and am looking for some critiques when taking a photo like this. Any input will be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Re: Bridge Truss @ dawn

What were you trying to show in the photo? How would you like the photo to be?

I was trying to capture the sky more than anything. I would like the photo to look as close to what I was actually seeing as possible.

Meter against the sky to get the exposure you want of the sky. Actually, it looks like it is metered off sky.

If you wanted the moon to look larger you would need to use a zoom lens. Get some distance away from the bridge and zoom into the bridge and moon. Takes some planning unless happen to be at the right place at the right time.
