Numerous events held during Gettysburg's Remembrance Day to honor those who fought there during the Civil War. Saturday evening luminaries were lit at each grave marker at the National Cemetery, with reenactor honor guards standing over the entire evening event (5:30-9). Taps was played on the half hour with honor guard changes. Names of those fallen were read the entire evening.
Just a couple photos from the evening. The gentleman photographed stands for a fallen relative that fell on the first day of fighting at the railroad cut as the Confederates came in from Cashtown.
