Eaglets almost ready to fledge

The local resident pair down the street from my shop has done an outstanding job again this year raising two eaglets! They are testing out their flight muscles and it won't be long until they're ready to leave the nest. Usually happens around the 2nd week of July. The nest has been in the same vicinity for about 7 years and the public street is basically at the base of the nest tree. There is a swimming hole that draws the local kids who walk right under the tree. It is very possible that they could get pooped on by an eagle!
