Fred Woods Trail & 7x6 Bull Elk

Beautiful day for a hike with my mom on Monday. Saw a group of 5 bulls right beside the road just shortly after sunrise on our way to the Fred Woods Trail. Pretty easy 4.75 mile hike with two vistas and a cool rock area. Some of the carvings had late 1800 dates.

Not only is my short-term memory horrible, but so is my short-term memory.

Nice! My mom and i had a great time! I'll take my son with me next time. I would like to go back when the leaves are off so you can see the valleys when you walk around those points. Please tell me you went to the Mason Hill Overlook while you were there?! I was really impressed with that view!
