Just came back from a special three day photo event in the mountains of Cass , West Virginia . All 7 of there steam Locomotives are restored to the 200 psi operating specs . No shortcuts here . All are all wheel drive Sheas with the exception of number six which is a Heisler and was just recently put back into service after a complete rebuild . It is a very rare Locomotive . It is ninety tons and the rest of the Sheas are either ninty tons and one is one hundred and ten . These are all around one hundred years old and were used in the Mountains of Cass to haul logs to the sawmill . Imagine these oldtimers hauling logs on a twelve percent grade ! Sure have more character than modern day diesels ! Diesels here of course are vintage !
