Turkey harvest photo

We had major floppage. I called the birds in and took the first bird. It went down and was flopping some when the next bird jumped on top of the flopping one. I kept calling and there was gobbling. My brother shot that one. Mine started flopping again and it got into a wet area and it was splashing all over, and then my brother's bird started flopping around, too. There was a third gobbler and a hen who didn't quite understand what had just happened and all the flopping around was too much for him to take. He was gobbling like crazy at the floppage and to my every call. I kept calling and he kept gobbling as they slowly made their way away from us. We did our "high fives" and headed out of the woods while that last gobbler serenaded us! Cody turkey calls rock! Set this photo up with tripod, self timer, flash. Probably one of the best harvest shots I have taken.

Re: Turkey harvest photo

Excellent! Congratulations on the successful hunt and the outstanding photo memory! I would certainly frame that and hang it on the wall!

Nice.

The fellow on the left appears to have stolen my gun. 870 Wingmaster. Mine is a '76 vintage.
