Annual Migration Count, Snyder County

Yesterday I participated in the annual state-wide migration count. I tallied 102 different species from 3:30am until 7:30pm. Here are some of the highlights:

The stormy sunrise:

Not a great picture, but the most important bird of the day was this Black Scoter on Faylor Lake
