We have about 2 acres of rye that will be harvested in about two weeks. We were just gonna plant soybeans to harvest in the fall, but I was thinking about planting buckwheat. Is there a decent market for selling buckwheat? I would hate to be left with a wagon load of buckwheat with no demand for it.

Re: Buckwheat

As far as I know, this forum is for deer/wildlife planting, not for selling to market. I have no idea if buckwheat is marketable. It's a good planting on poor soil to "get things going" for future farming. Deer eat it but it's not clover.
