Clover & wheat food plot

Planted in late August, doesn't seem much clover came up. What is there & wheat & seeds are high. Would it be ok to cut it back now? Should I first deer it with cover again March?

This. Won't hurt it a bit to be under the wheat. Spring time you should have some nice clover.

Traditions only last if you pass them down to your kids!
